Fast Break, Fast Fix

Monday morning, 6am, your alarm starts buzzing.  Exhausted from the weekend’s antics, you roll out of bed, put on your bathrobe, walk over to the shower and rinse off everything but your pseudo catatonic state.

For breakfast you eat cornflakes, the same cereal you’ve had everyday since college.  Your phone is already blowing up with reminders of to-do’s for the day ahead.  You basically sleepwalk your way from brushing your teeth, to your car and plop down into the drivers seat when CRUNCH.

Now you’re awake.  You lift your butt off the seat only to see your worst nightmare.  Your glasses, the same pair you’ve had for the last 5 years, broken.  You need them to drive, so you feverishly race inside, haphazardly tape the frames back together, pop out the broken lens- you’ll have to just use one eye- and set off to work.
